What's the first thing you need to do to understand the Bible?

Before knowledge is given, one must desire to know God's Word. God delights in those who search for His truth (the Bible) with eagerness and joy. Jesus said it best in Matthew 5:6, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled." Do you want to know the Scriptures? Desire it by opening up His Word daily to study it.
